Questionnaire Data Analysis

This was the data from our questionnaire:

From our questionnaire we have been able to learn that exactly 50% of the people who we questioned were aged 11 to 17. We also found that 61% of the people we asked like rock music and of that 61% 10 were male.

This has made us choose to aim our band and their music video towards males around that age. This has also been supported by our focus group in which most of our male members stated that they prefer rock music.

Our next step will be to to analyse some folk rockish types of songs an analyse their music videos in order to find some inspiration of what we can include in our videos.

Out of 18 participants, 11 were fans of rock music (thats just 61%)

Of these 11, two were female (18%) and nine were male (82%)

Of the males, four (44.5%) were between the ages of 11-17, four (44.5%) were ages 18-24, and 1 was aged 35- 44 (11%)

Of the females, one was aged 11- 17, and the other 35- 40 (50% for each age range)

Overall, 5 were aged 11- 17 (46%), four were aged 18- 25 (36%) and two were aged 35-44 (18%)

The ratings of the bands went as follows: Iron Maiden- Two people (18%). Both were male. One was within the 11-17 age bracket, and the other in the 18- 25 age bracket.
